IT Executives Present Network Equipment to ITDS

On 16 February 2026, the IT Executives formally presented network cables and related accessories to the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences (ITDS) at the HOD's office. The presentation formed part of efforts to enhance practical training, improve network infrastructure, and address connectivity challenges within the department. The donated items included the following equipment: Network crimping tools (clippers), Network testers (10 units), D-Link CAT6 cables (3 units), UTP LAN CAT6 cables (4 units), Modular plugs – 1 bag (1,000 pieces).

The equipment is intended to support hands-on networking practicals, improve cable testing and installation exercises, and strengthen the department’s technical capacity in network configuration and maintenance.
