UENR Tech Fair 2026: Student Project Exhibition, Best Programmer and CreateX Sprint
In preparation for the 5th Edition of the UENR Tech Fair 2026, themed “Code Around the Clock: Equipping the Youth with Digital Skills to Build a Resilient 24-Hour Economy,” a series of exciting activities was organized to build momentum toward the main event scheduled for 26th June 2026. On Thursday, 18th June 2026, the Department hosted a Student Project Exhibition at 9:00 a.m., where final-year Information Technology students presented innovative projects developed to address practical challenges within their communities. The exhibition provided the students with an opportunity to demonstrate their technical knowledge, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and readiness to contribute meaningfully to national development through technology.
Earlier that same day, the Best Programmer Competition took place at the Computer Laboratory at 8:00 a.m. The competition brought together talented student programmers who demonstrated their coding abilities, logical thinking, and capacity to develop solutions under competitive conditions. Their performances reflected the growing interest in software development and the importance of equipping young people with relevant digital skills for the modern economy. The winners of the competition will be officially announced during the main Tech Fair programme on 26th June 2026.
At 11:00 a.m., the Computer Laboratory also hosted the CreateX Sprint, a creative design competition that allowed student designers to showcase their skills, originality, and ability to communicate ideas through digital visual designs. Participants displayed impressive creativity and technical competence, highlighting the important role of design in technology, communication, branding, and innovation. The winners of the CreateX Sprint will also be announced during the main event. Together, these activities created an inspiring atmosphere of innovation, competition, collaboration, and creativity, while setting the stage for the grand UENR Tech Fair 2026.
