Mr. Emmanuel Botchway is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR), Ghana. With a strong foundation in Computer Science, holding both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from UENR, Botchway is dedicated to advancing the fields of Web and Mobile App Development, Human-Centered AI, Machine Learning, Human-Computer Interaction, and exploring the ethical implications of AI systems. His academic journey includes an MPhil in Computer Science, during which he focused on modeling the relationship between land use/land cover and land surface temperature using a Machine Learning approach. Proficient in several programming languages, including PHP, Java, C++, Python, Dart, and VB.Net, Botchway leverages his skills to develop impactful software solutions. His projects span diverse systems such as ERP, Hospital Management System, Student Project Management System, Restaurant Management System, Online Voting Systems, etc., demonstrating his ability to address real-world challenges through technology. Beyond academia, Botchway has held roles as an IT Manager, IT Consultant, and Teaching and Research Assistant, showcasing a blend of technical expertise and leadership that enriches his contributions to both education and industry.
